Note: You will have to mess with &#8220;regedit&#8221;.   <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\n# Open up regedit for changes to Windows Registry<br \/>\n<strong>Step 1<\/strong>: Start &#8211;> Run &#8211;> regedit<\/p>\n<p># Look for where you need to make the changes<br \/>\n<strong>Step 2<\/strong>: Edit &#8211;> Find &#8211;> <strong>2FingerTapAction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p># For me the path was<br \/>\n# HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Software\\Synaptics\\SynTP\\TouchpadPS2_2<br \/>\n<strong>Step 3<\/strong>: Notice that there are several Mouse actions<\/p>\n<p># Create a new entry to add<br \/>\n<strong>Step 4<\/strong>: Right Click &#8211;> New &#8211;> DWORD<\/p>\n<p># New value HasBothButtonFeature = 1<br \/>\n<strong>Step 5<\/strong>: Enter <strong>HasBothButtonFeature<\/strong> with value <strong>1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p># Let changes take effect<br \/>\n<strong>Step 6<\/strong>: Log off and Log in<\/p>\n<p># Test emulation of middle click<br \/>\n<strong>Step 7<\/strong>: Open a browser and a new tab and press both buttons to close the tab\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>That should make your browsing experience a bit faster now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even after installing multiple version of the Synaptics Touchpad Drivers I wasn&#8217;t able to emulate the Middle Mouse Button by pressing Left\/Right Buttons on my HP Laptop&#8217;s Touchpad and finally after some searching on the web I found a solution from sinairv.
